What is Lion's Gate?

Considered to be one of the most potent times in the year, it is when the energies invite us to courageously face our fears of unworthiness and to integrate the love and divinity of our Higher Self's divinity in our daily lives.

‍Origins of the Lion's Gate and Ancient Egypt

‍In ancient Egypt, the Lions Gate Portal was celebrated from about 28th July - 12th August. It is an annual astrological event that occurs during Leo season when Earth and the Sirius Star system are perfectly aligned with one another. This isa time of heightened spiritual energy that amplifies our intentions and manifesting in a powerful way. Lions were associated with sovereign royalty in ancient Egypt and are wonderful totems for recognising our true worth as divine beings bravely embodying a human experience. In last week's newsletter I wrote about the unapologetic Leo energy and how it teaches us to feel more comfortable with being seen for our natural gifts and talents, how to courageously step into our authentic self and embrace our personal power beyond co-dependency.

‍It's not as easy as it sounds, is it?!

‍Choosing this human life experience, to be born into a time such as we are living through can feel excruciating. Perhaps, like me you have sometimes wondered why you didn't read the small print before embarking upon such a journey - and maybe you've questioned what induced you to make such a choice! The Lion's Gate Portal is a potent time to focus upon your sovereign empowerment, to shine like the sun and to own your worth as a divine being bravely embodying a heroic human journey. We are living in a time of tremendous change. Much that no longer serves our highest good is on the move. Powerful energy shifts are creating a wave of momentum that whilst unsettling, it can support our healing, the releasing of toxic outdated ways of thinking and reacting. It's not easy and its not always comfortable! Grief may be part of your journey, it has been for me. As I acknowledge loss and release old pain, allowing sadness to be seen and felt is an important part of a process. But what I'm also realising is that if I can surrender and trust my Higher Self and the sacred flow of the All That Is, then the release, re-alignment and restoration is inevitable and doesn't have to be dramatic. For equally there comes an increased sense of inner peace, harmony, reconciliation and healing.

‍What does this have to do with receiving Abundance?

‍Feelings of increased self worth have an impact on how much we are willing to receive in life. Prosperity consciousness is quite literally, a conscious remembrance of our true nature and allowing that resonance, that vibration to manifest as abundance in our lives.

‍What to expect?

‍This is a time when you may receive sudden insights or clarity about important changes that need to be initiated in your life or career. Either way, this is a potent time. It is time to stop playing small! Now is the time to harness the cosmic energy for your highest good and the good of all. If we are to become the change we wish to see in the world - it starts here.

‍Spend time in Nature simply be-ing. Honour your Heart and the Heart of the All That Is. Recognise you are part of the amazing beautiful Earth, practice gratitude, accept and celebrate who and what you are. Step out of the shadows. into the magnificent, abundant, sovereign being that you came here to be. 🙏💚🙏
